Beach Boys 

Prior the Pet sounds Album the Beach Boys were a “ Regular Group” they were know as a Surfer Guys. They were 3 brothers and their Neighbor. They start making music for their own and inspire from the Surf, their lyrics were about how big the waves were or what type of people visit the beach they frequented. After couples years they were placed at the top 10 Single.

Brian Wilson was the older, of the 3 brothers. He was the creator of the beach boys.

He also was the Producer, Songwriter, Compositor of the group he was the one who stayed hour and hours in the studio producing music for the beach boys. He realize his music was getting better expending more time in the studio, that why he stop touring the band, and start making more music for them.

What influenced the most Brian Wilson was the Music Production and style of Phil Spector and the style to of a band call The Four Freshman. Brian like their vocals and production style, the four freshman, band was a big influence for The Pet Sounds Album to. Also the competition, that the beach boys had with the Beatles make Brian to put more effort in his new album.

I can say one of the main difference of the pet sounds album between the other albums were the Harmonics and the vocals. Only to hear it for couple seconds and you know its Pet sounds, the other main difference his that the most part of this album was created by just one man Brian Wilson, Brian put all his knowledge and creativity in this album. Putting a way the touring with his band.

First congratulate Brian Wilson for all his effort in this album. Pet sounds for me it’s a really well done album for that time. I like the harmonies and the drums and the arranged. I did know and heard about the beach boys before I took this class. I think if Brian Wilson can do the album in this year with all the technology and the fancy gear we have now, it would be a Million record sale for sure.
