Juan Luis Guerra has been so
influenced in our that music, that now the bachata and merengue is know around
the world, The way he compose his music and his lyrics is when the music and
all the instruments and all ready recorded, then he start thinking on the
lyrics. He apart to be a composer and producer he like to read poetry most of
the time, he says poetry help him to create the lyrics of his songs.

He obtained his First Grammy
with “ Bachata Rosa Album” this album is a really excellent album in all the
aspects lyrics, arrangements, and Instrumentation.
In 1990, they
released Bachata Rosa, which became a major hit and earned Guerra his first
Grammy award. The album, having sold more than five million copies at that
time, allowed Juan Luis Guerra to keep touring Latin America, USA and Europe.
The album contains famous and memorable love songs such as "Burbujas de
Amor" (Bubbles of Love), "Bachata Rosa", "Rosalia",
"Como Abeja al Panal" (Like a Bee to Honeycomb), "A Pedir Su
Mano" (Asking For Her Hand), "Carta de Amor" (Love Letter), and
"Estrellitas y Duendes" (Little stars and elves).
Juan Luis Guerra has been
called for numerically charity events around South America and Center America, He
says he is inspire in may ways first like a musician with The Beatles and then
personally with his Wife and God, the last two are his more important and
inspire him to write and Compose Music.
One of his goals in that his
music can be play in Country like Japan, and China. In the beginning of his
career Juan Luis Guerra use a combination of Jazz and Merengue to compose his
music, but later on he realize his Latin arrangements and compositions catch
the American people attention we he was studied in Berklee College.
I been listen to Juan Luis
Guerra music almost 7 years, for me like a student that like the music would be
a privilege to work with him in the future, not only for his music but also to
for his faith and for his good acts he do for the people.
